Set up Your Webcam

Connect webcam to computer's USB port and open your video recording software to set camera properties.

1. For Windows 7/8/10, download AMCap, choose “FHD Camera”.

2. For Mac Book, use Photo Booth.

3. For Google Chrome OS, search "Camera" APP.

4. For Linux or Ubuntu system, please download “Cheese” software.

5. For smart TV or TV-BOX (maybe other different names for video call application), find the corresponding "camera" application.

Connect to Xbox One:

1. Insert the webcam to Xbox One USB port, access to the broadcasting options, click on the camera option, and open it;

2. Xbox One's audio is on the game handle, and external microphone needs to be plugged into the handle when used;

3. Click "Start up your broadcast", the live video will be displayed in the mixer live app.

If Your Computer Can't Detect the Webcam?

For windows:

1.Right-click on the "My Computer" > "Manage" > "Device Manager" > "Cameras", check the device;

2.Please connect the camera to the USB port on the back of the computer.

For Mac:

1.Please restart your computer and re-plug in the camera, or connect the camera to another USB interface;

2.Please reset the PRAM to load the driver of the USB Live Camera, or upgrade the Mac OS system.

If the Image Comes Out Blurry During Video Calling?

1. Make sure the lens is clean. Use a glass cloth to gently wipe dust off when needed.

2. Manual adjustment by gently rotating the lens ring until it becomes clear.

3. Wave your hand in front of the webcam and see if it will adjust focus automatically.

4. Open your video recording software to adjust relevant parameters (like brightness, color, white balance, focus, etc).

NOTICE:

• If your computer/laptop has a built-in camera, you need to change the default camera settings. Such as change the default camera in the chatting software settings, or disable the built-in camera in the computer settings.
• When using a desktop computer, please connect the webcam to the USB port on the back of the computer. Don’t connect to the USB port on the front panel, because it may not work properly due to insufficient power supply.
• Please avoid using the webcam in high-exposure scenes, such as windows or other intense light sources which may affect the use effect.
• Before using Skype, please make sure you have closed other application, and update Skype to the latest version.
